I got a mimi Kirsten on Ebay a while ago, and I have always thought she was a little bit strange, but I have thought about it again, anbd she seems to definately be a fake. She is one of the older glass-eyed types, but her eyes are so dark they look black, and her body is very unevenly-shaped, and her face plastic is sort of grainy, and her dress has one sleeve too narrow and is the wrong color, but doesn't seem faded, and her pantaloons are hip-fitters, and have lost their elastic. Also, she is missing a boot-lace. Her outfit smells sort of smoky. At first I thought it was smoke, but it should have worn off by now, and it actually smeels a little bit like a cheaply-made chinese copy. Someone on Ebay is selling fake Pleasant Company mini doll outfits from singapore, and I think it is one of them. Also, her socks are too long. Aside from the eyes and graininess, her head looks normal, but the rest of her looks very wrong. I think she must be a fake, and the outfit is one of the singapore ones. My friend has an old mini Samantha, and my doll is nothing like hers. All the faults I have listed (except for the loss of elastic and (maybe) the dark eyes (they're not as bad in hers), are not in her. Do you think I am right, or is it maybe just some old factory reject? My poor little Inga.
