Alone in my room
All was pitch-black
I was thinking of vampires
And their midnight snacks
I was almost asleep
When I heard a rapping
Something impatiently rapping at my chamber door
I snuggled under my blankets
Afraid of what lay behind the door
The doorknob slowly turned
And a skinny man stepped in
He was tall and paler
Than the clotted cream in my tea sandwiches
He wore all black
And I saw fangs peeking out
Peeking out of his thin white lips
I shuddered in fright
And tried to scream
But somehow I couldn't let it pass through my lips
He crept up to my bed
And I was so terrified that my brain was about to burst
And you know how messy it is to clean up brains
Splattered all over the bed
He asked me if I wanted to become a vampire
And never have another zit
I refused and ran
Farther and faster
Than ever before
I ran almost seventy miles straight
Without slowing down
And I never became a vampire
But instead I got stung by a wasp!

I know, it's sorta creepy and Halloween-y

Today is the day of my swimming lesson. Yes, you heard me right, a swimming lesson.
